Analysis of the 3A mutant viruses by western blotting. BHK-21 cells were infected with the wt or mutant viruses. After 8 h incubation at 37 °C, cell extracts were prepared and proteins were separated on a 12% SDS-PAGE, blotted, and probed with primary antibodies (FMDV 3B monoclonal antibody and anti-GFP antibody) and secondary antibody (HRP-conjugated goat anti-mouse IgG) respectively
